His career reflects a rare combination of in-house leadership and top-tier law firm experience. Mr. Singh has spent more than 17 years as the General Counsel of a listed company, where he was closely involved in corporate strategy, governance and complex transactions. He subsequently served as a Partner/ Equity Partner at a Tier-1 law firm for 19 years, where he advised various Indian as well as international clients on domestic and cross-border transactions, corporate restructuring and regulatory matters.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Singh has advised leading corporates, multinational companies and promoter-led enterprises across various sectors including automotive, manufacturing, cement, media, information technology, telecommunications, energy solutions and education sector. His practice has consistently focused on high-value corporate transactions, strategic restructuring and governance advisory.

Mr. Singh has led numerous high-value transactions involving acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and corporate re-organisations. His experience includes advising listed companies and multinational conglomerates on complex share purchase transactions, business transfers, and cross-border investments, as well as strategic corporate restructuring through schemes of arrangement (amalgamations as well as demergers).

During his tenure with one of the top law firms in India, Mr. Singh has advised several prominent corporate houses and groups including NIIT Group (comprising of various group companies, including NIIT Limited, NIIT Learning Solutions Limited, NIIT Technologies Limited), HCL Group (including HCL Technologies Limited, HCL Infosystems Limited, Shiv Nadar University), Teledyne Group, Stylam Industries Limited, Alliance Group, Asian Cements Limited, Dharampal Satyapal Group, Pathways Schools, Jaipuria Schools, Khaitan Schools, Monash University, Dalmia Group, HT Media Limited, VE Commercial Vehicles Limited and several international education groups.

In addition to his corporate transactional and advisory work, Mr. Singh developed a significant private client and promoter advisory practice, assisting business families with succession planning, structuring family trusts, and governance frameworks designed to ensure continuity of business ownership.

Mr. Singh has also played an active role in board governance and currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Eicher Motors Limited and Volvo Eicher Commercial Vehicles Limited, contributing to governance oversight and strategic decision-making at the board level.
